Grimsel Pass

I would rate the Grimsel Pass as the most scenic pass in Switzerland. Grimsel pass is located 2,164m in the Bernese Alps. This is another pass which is typically only open in the summer months due to snow. It’s regarded as one of the best passes in Switzerland and is popular with cyclists and motoring enthusiasts. During my visits I saw a number of performance vehicles traversing this pass and had a great battle with a GT3. It’s a nice wide sealed road with a generous speed limit and plenty of overtaking opportunities. The scenery is spectacular due to a reservoir which runs parallel to the pass. There is often a lot of traffic on this pass as Grimsel is a popular tourist destination. The pass is really enjoyable to drive which includes a relatively steep ascent and fun corners. This pass should be on every motoring enthusiasts list, it’s definitely worth driving. Enjoy the video.
