Greece is probably not known as a great driving destination, but it certainly has some amazing mountain passes. The roads are also quite deserted which allows for some fun! Road 2GJ3 is a mountain pass located in Palea Leptokarya. This road has a lot of hairpin turns and has a gradual elevation allowing for some nice scenery. It’s a completely sealed road which is in good condition with no potholes or bumps. The road is also wide and allows for safe passing of oncoming vehicles. The road is 10km long and traverses through some nice scenery with great views of the ocean in the vicinity. This would have to be the road with the least amount of traffic so far, which is a nice welcome after the heavy traffic in Romania. There are also no toll charges which is a positive. Overall it’s a very enjoyable drive and definitely worth the drive in Greece.
