Gardena pass is one of the most popular passes in the Dolomites region in Italy. This is another high altitude pass with a peak elevation of 2,136 m and is located between Selva and Corvara. The surface of the road is completely sealed and is in better condition compared with other passes in the region. The road is also wide with a safe width for passing oncoming vehicles. The road has a number of hairpins and sweeping bends which are enjoyable to drive. There is moderate traffic on this pass as it’s a popular tourist destination. The scenery of the pass is beautiful with great views of the Dolomite mountains. This region overall is quite spectacular and it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular tourist destination.
