Oberalp pass is an iconic pass in the the Swiss Alps. Oberalp pass has a peak elevation of 2,044m and is located between Disentis and Andermatt. The high alpine road is only open during the summer months. The road is very enjoyable with sweeping bends and tight hairpins. The scenery surrounding the pass is also wonderful and adds to the unique experience of the drive. Unfortunately I did not get the best weather during my visit and the weather was quite changeable. On one side of the mountain it was raining while the other side had clear sunshine! The road is in good condition and is wide with safe width for passing oncoming vehicles. This pass had a fewer amount of traffic compared to the other passes in the region. This is a pass worth driving and not to be missed!
